RENEWAL OF LICENSES BY MAIL |

NAC483.455. Renewed driver’s license: Period of validity; loss, theft or destruction.

1. A driver’s license which is renewed by mail is valid until the date on which the license is set to expire as determined pursuant to NAC 483.043.
2. If a renewed driver’s license is lost, stolen or destroyed, the licensee must apply to the Department for a duplicate driver’s license. The duplicate driver’s license expires on the same date as the renewed driver’s license.
3. The Department will charge and collect the fee prescribed for a duplicate license in NRS 483.410 and NAC 483.900 for a driver’s license issued pursuant to subsection 2.
