NAC284.546. Sick leave: Unused credit; special sick leave.

Unused sick leave accrued but not carried forward pursuant to the provisions of NRS 284.355 must be placed in a separate account. Sick leave accrued in a separate account pursuant to this section is designated as special sick leave. Special sick leave may be used if an employee has used all the sick leave otherwise available to him or her and meets the conditions, as applicable, of NAC 284.554, 284.566 and 284.568.
