NAC284.834. Action on petitions to initiate adoption, amendment or repeal.

When a petition is submitted to initiate the adoption, amendment or repeal of a regulation pursuant to NAC 284.830, the Division of Human Resource Management will, within 30 days, either deny the petition in writing, stating its reasons, or initiate procedures for the adoption, amendment or repeal of a regulation pursuant to NRS 233B.060. An oral hearing will be granted to any interested person who will be directly affected by the proposed regulation.
