NAC286.150. Submission of statement of hours in workday and days in workweek.

Each public employer shall submit a statement to the System certifying the number of hours in a regular workday and the number of days in a regular workweek for their employees, except that:

     1. A school district may certify a separate workday and workweek for teachers, nonteaching employees and classified employees.

     2. The Nevada System of Higher Education may certify a separate workday and workweek for classified employees and professional staff.

     3. Employers, other than the Nevada System of Higher Education and school districts, may certify a separate workday and workweek for regular employees and police officers and firefighters.
