NAC286.210. Purchase of service: Agreement to deduct payments.

Latest version.

     1. A member may enter into an agreement with the System to purchase service by the deduction of monthly payments from the member’s paycheck.

     2. If a public employer will not allow deductions for this purpose, the member must purchase the service by the payment of a lump sum.

     3. Interest paid pursuant to such an agreement may not be credited to the member’s account.
