NAC286.430. Appeal of adverse decision to Board; reconsideration by Board.

  •      1. Any member, retired employee or beneficiary, or his or her spouse, or any person having a claim against the System may appeal to the Board from a decision made by the System’s staff or an interpretation of the Public Employees’ Retirement Act, these regulations or the policies and procedures of the System.

         2. The Board will reconsider its decision or action if the person aggrieved presents new evidence to the Board which was not available or the existence of which was not known to the person and could not reasonably have been known to him or her at the time the matter was originally presented to the Board.

         3. The Board will allow only one reconsideration.
