NAC445A.0574. “Environmental sample” defined.

- “Environmental sample” means a sample of any substance obtained from any natural source or any source that may reasonably be expected to pollute or receive pollution from the atmosphere, supplies of drinking water, groundwater, surface water, soil, sediment or ecosystem biota of this State, including, without limitation:
1. Ambient air;
2. Emissions of air from point sources;
3. Drinking water;
4. Receiving waters;
5. Soil or sediment;
6. Effluents from industrial, municipal or residential sources;
7. Samples from facilities used to store or handle chemicals;
8. Facilities used to dispose of waste;
9. Runoff of surface water; and
10. Samples obtained from facilities used to handle or apply substances for the control of weeds or insects.
