NAC449.99925. Authority of Bureau.

The Bureau shall in an emergency deny, suspend or revoke the license of a facility and, in the case of a residential facility that is no longer licensed to operate, arrange for the appointment of a temporary manager to oversee the timely and orderly transfer of any residents. This sanction may be used only if other less drastic measures are inadequate to prevent or remove a serious threat to the health, safety and well-being of recipients and, in the case of a residential facility, the action is deemed necessary to safeguard and protect the health of residents of the facility.
