  • “Biologic indicator test” means a test used in every ethylene oxide cycle and in every sterilization load of implantable devices to demonstrate through the destruction of highly resistant bacterial spores whether all parameters, including, without limitation, time, temperature, sterilant and humidity, were met to effectively sterilize the medical items.
