NAC459.11455. “Waste” defined.

Latest version.

“Waste” means any low-level radioactive waste containing source material, special nuclear material or by-product material specified in NAC 459.022 that is acceptable for disposal in a land disposal facility. The term does not include any high-level radioactive waste, transuranic waste, spent nuclear fuel or by-product material specified in subsections 3 and 4 of NAC 459.022.
