NAC459.3174. Requirements for issuance of any license.

An applicant for any license issued by the Division pursuant to NAC 459.010 to 459.950, inclusive, except an applicant for the renewal of a license, must describe in the application how facility design and procedures for operation will:

     1. Minimize, to the extent practicable, the:

     (a) Contamination of the facility and environment; and

     (b) Generation of radioactive waste; and

     2. Facilitate eventual decommissioning.
