  • “Dry system” means a sprinkler system employing automatic sprinklers attached to a piping system containing air or inert gas under atmospheric or higher pressures in which loss of pressure from the opening of a sprinkler or detection of a fire condition causes the release of water into the piping systems and out through the opened sprinkler.
