  • “Special hazard suppression system” means a fire suppression system other than a sprinkler system or pre-engineered system which requires individual calculation and design to determine the flow rates, nozzle pressures and pipe size of each nozzle, the area or volume protected by each nozzle, and the quantities of product, number and types of nozzles and their placement in a specific system.
