Upon expiration, cancellation or revocation of the amateur radio license as issued by the Federal Communications Commission the amateur radio station special plates must be returned to the Department for cancellation. If credit from the cancelled plates is due, upon termination of the amateur radio station special plates, the credit may be applied toward issuance of Nevada plates for the next 12 consecutive months.
