NAC504.825. Review of application; award of grant; applications for additional grants.

1. Before August 1 of each year, the Commission will review the application for a grant. On or before September 1, the Commission will conduct a public meeting to hear a presentation by each applicant recommended by the Executive Director and comments from the public concerning the application. The Commission will award the grant to appropriate projects at the conclusion of the meeting.

2. If less than the total amount set aside by the Commission for grants is authorized for expenditure at the meeting, the Commission will accept applications for additional grants until November 1.
