NAC512.572. Procedure upon determination of unsafe condition.

If an inspector or special inspector, upon his or her inspection of a boiler or pressure vessel, finds that the boiler or pressure vessel or any appurtenance thereof is in such condition as to be unsafe, the inspector or special inspector shall immediately notify the owner or user and the Administrator in writing and, as soon as practicable thereafter, submit to the owner or user and the Administrator a report on the defects, which states which repairs or other corrective measures are required. Until the corrections have been made, the boiler or pressure vessel must not be operated.
