NAC532.100. “Penalty” defined.

“Penalty” means an administrative fine imposed by the State Engineer in response to a violation pursuant to NRS 533.481, 534.193, 535.200 or 536.200, as appropriate, which may include a requirement to reimburse enforcement costs pursuant to those sections and a requirement to replace not more than 200 percent of any water unlawfully used, wasted or diverted pursuant to NRS 533.481 or 534.193.
