  • “Lot” means a batch or any portion of a batch of a drug or, if the drug is produced in a continuous process, any amount of the drug produced in a unit of time or quantity in a manner that ensures its uniformity. A lot is identified by a distinctive number and has uniform character and quality within specified limits.
