- Licensed firms must have insurance against liability for injury to persons and damage to property. The insurance must be kept and remain in force during the lifetime of the operation. Certificates showing such coverage must be on file in the office of the Board and in the office of the company. No license or renewal of a license will be issued without satisfactory proof of insurance unless the Board agrees to the financial responsibility of the applicant. The certificate can be either forwarded to the Board by the licensee or by the insurance company covering the operation of the licensee before the expiration of his or her license. The licensee must include a proof of insurance form with the licensee’s request for renewal.
