If an injured employee is required to travel more than 50 miles per day to participate in a program of vocational rehabilitation, an insurer shall reimburse the injured employee for the costs of transportation which must be computed at a rate equal to the mileage allowance for state employees who use their personal vehicles for the convenience of the State.
