A prehearing may be held for:

     1. Speeding up the pending case.

     2. Hearing motions.

     3. Mediating a settlement.

     4. Submittal of documentary evidence.

     5. Narrowing issues.

     6. Setting a convenient date for the main hearing.

     7. Any other purpose which would facilitate the proceedings.
