NAC618.396. Condition of devices installed on crane to determine ability of crane to bear load.

The person who supervises the erection or dismantling of a tower crane shall ensure that any device which is installed on a crane or other machine used to erect or dismantle the tower crane and upon which the operator relies in determining the ability of the crane or other machine to bear a load, including instruments known as:

     1. “Load cells”;

     2. “Boom angle indictors”;

     3. “Load moment indicators” or “LMIs”; or

     4. “Wind velocity indicators,”
