  • “Explosive properties” means physical or chemical characteristics that cause a chemical compound or a mixture to undergo a very rapid chemical change, with the evolution of a large volume of highly heated gases that exert pressure in the surrounding medium, if the compound or mixture is subjected to heat, impact, friction, detonation or other suitable initiation.
