“Project for the abatement of asbestos” means any activity for the abatement of asbestos involving more than 25 linear feet of material containing asbestos located on pipes or ducts or more than 10 square feet of any other material containing asbestos. The term includes activities for the abatement of asbestos, but does not include projects for spot repairs if the number of procedures can be predicted within 1 year and the material containing asbestos to be disturbed exceeds these limits.
