NAC630.145. Restricted license: “Medically underserved area” defined.

For the purposes of subsection 1 of NRS 630.264, “medically underserved area” means any geographic area designated by the Board with a population to primary care physician ratio of 2,500:1. When designating a geographic area as medically underserved, the Board may consider any additional criteria proposed by the Officer of Rural Health of the University of Nevada School of Medicine or a board of county commissioners.
