A licensee may petition the Board for a waiver or deferral of all or part of the required hours of continuing education in a particular year. The Board may grant such a waiver or deferral if it finds the licensee has a hardship or circumstance beyond his or her control which has prevented the licensee from completing the required number of hours of continuing education.
