NAC639.283. Prescriptions: Orders on charts of hospitalized patients.

A physician assistant shall not write a prescription in the form of an order on the chart of a patient in a hospital unless the physician assistant is authorized by the hospital’s rules and has filed a copy of his or her form for prescriptions with the pharmacy of the hospital. The form must be approved by the Board.
