NAC639.918. Written record of refills; exception.

  • Except as otherwise provided in subsection 3 of NAC 639.751, the pharmacist must maintain in chronological order a separate written record of each refill that includes:

         1. The prescription number;

         2. The date of each refill or authorization;

         3. The number of dosage units; and

         4. The handwritten initials of the pharmacist who fills the refill.

    Ê The written record must be maintained for a period of 2 years after the date of the last refill entered therein for a prescription.
