  • Each court reporter and firm shall preserve the confidentiality and ensure the security of all written and oral information that is entrusted to the court reporter or firm by the parties to a proceeding pursuant to a stipulation entered into the record or attached to the record. Except as otherwise provided by statute, if the parties have not entered into a stipulation concerning the confidentiality of information, the court reporter or firm is not required to preserve the confidentiality of the transcript of the proceeding pursuant to this section.
