  • “High-cost area” means an area determined by the Commission for which eligible telecommunications carriers may qualify for a disbursement of money from the fund to maintain the availability of telephone service:

         1. For an area served by a small-scale provider of last resort, pursuant to NAC 704.68048; and

         2. For an area served by a competitive supplier that is a provider of last resort, pursuant to NAC 704.6805.
