NAC704.828. Measures for conservation: Suggestion; evaluation upon customer’s request.

Latest version.
  • A utility may suggest measures for conserving energy but may select a measure to be evaluated only upon a customer’s request. Such an evaluation must be based upon:

         1. The frequency of recommendations for installation of the measure made in prior inspections;

         2. All costs and benefits;

         3. The length of the payback period; and

         4. Special conditions which affect savings in energy, cost-effectiveness and the likelihood of the measure being installed by the customer after the inspection.
