NAC483.832. Expiration and renewal of license. [Effective July 8, 2018.]

  •      1. Except as otherwise provided in subsection 3 or NRS 483.929, and except for a limited-term driver’s license, every commercial driver’s license expires on the eighth anniversary of the date of issuance of the commercial driver’s license, in the case of an original issuance, a renewal of a commercial driver’s license or a renewal of an expired commercial driver’s license.

         2. A licensee must renew his or her commercial driver’s license in person at an office of the Department.

         3. A commercial driver’s license issued to a licensee who is 65 years of age or older on the date of issuance or renewal expires on the fourth anniversary of the birthday of the licensee measured, in the case of an original issuance, a renewal of a commercial driver’s license or a renewal of an expired commercial driver’s license, from the birthday of the licensee or holder nearest the date of issuance or renewal.
