NAC286.360. Reenrollment of retired employee.

If a retired employee accepts employment in a position whose occupant is thereby eligible for membership and elects to reenroll in the System:

     1. No benefits for survivors payable under NRS 286.671 to 286.679, inclusive, will be paid to any spouse, child or parent of the previously retired employee if he or she dies during his or her period of reestablished membership; and

     2. A refund of any employee contributions paid during a period of reestablished membership will be paid to the named beneficiary of the employee who dies during a period of reestablished membership.
