NAC391.555. Option of holder to appear before Board.

Whether or not the holder of the certificate chooses to participate in a hearing before a hearing officer, as provided for in NAC 391.500 to 391.555, inclusive, the holder may appear before the State Board of Education at the time and place scheduled for action on his or her certificate. The holder may then present and argue any facts which would mitigate or excuse him or her from the penalty the Board might impose.
