NAC424.040. “Emergency shelter care” defined.

- “Emergency shelter care” means short-term care, usually not to exceed 30 days, provided until long-range plans can be made for a child who cannot be maintained in his/her own home because he/she is in clear and present danger of abuse, neglect or exploitation.
