  • An area of review, required in the application for a permit for each injection well, consists of a circle circumscribed around the well with a fixed radius of 1 mile. This is the surface of the land lying over the zone of endangering influence. If an injection well is drilled at an angle greater than 1E deviation from vertical, the area of review is the area within 1 mile of the locations of both the surface and bottom hole.
