NAC459.99162. Application for allocation of money; determination and approval of amount to request.

In accordance with the provisions set forth in NAC 459.99163 to 459.99167, inclusive, a state agency which wishes to provide training or equipment to state and local personnel to respond to accidents and incidents involving hazardous materials may submit an application to the Commission for an allocation of money for such training or equipment from the Contingency Account for Hazardous Materials on a form approved by the Commission. Before such a state agency may submit an application for an allocation of money pursuant to the provisions of NAC 459.99163 to 459.99167, inclusive, the head of the state agency must determine and approve, based upon the needs of the state agency, the amount of funding the state agency will request in the application.
