NAC489.316. Classification of license as general serviceperson.

  • If an owner or responsible managing employee of a business applies for a license as a general serviceperson, the Division will designate the license as:

         1. A “classification GS1” license if the business:

         (a) Installs any manufactured home, mobile home, commercial coach, manufactured building or factory-built housing; or

         (b) Installs any manufactured home, mobile home, commercial coach, manufactured building or factory-built housing and performs work on any such structure in one or more of the following categories:

              (1) Installation or repair of:

                   (I) Awnings, roofing or skirting;

                   (II) Plumbing;

                   (III) Heating; or

                   (IV) Electrical systems;

              (2) Preparation for transport; or

              (3) Reconstruction, by alteration, addition or substitution, of substantial or essential parts.

         2. A “classification GS2” license if the business:

         (a) Is not involved in the installation of any manufactured home, mobile home, commercial coach, manufactured building or factory-built housing; and

         (b) Performs work on any manufactured home, mobile home, commercial coach, manufactured building or factory-built housing in one or more of the following categories:

              (1) Installation or repair of:

                   (I) Awnings, roofing or skirting;

                   (II) Plumbing;

                   (III) Heating; or

                   (IV) Electrical systems;

              (2) Preparation for transport; or

              (3) Reconstruction, by alteration, addition or substitution, of substantial or essential parts.
