PRESERVATION OF WILD HORSES |
NAC504.860. Payments from Heil Trust Fund for Wild Horses conditioned on receipt of reports of progress.

1. After the initial payment from the Heil Trust Fund for Wild Horses to the recipient of a grant, any additional payments will be conditioned upon receipt and approval by the Commission of written reports regarding the progress of the project. The reports must be received by the Commission no later than December 31 of the fiscal year in which the grant was awarded, and September 15 of the next year. The final report must be received by the Commission before any payment from the Heil Trust Fund for Wild Horses will be made to the recipient, if the recipient is awarded a grant for that year.
2. The reports of progress must include:
(a) A complete accounting of all expenditures of the money received from the Heil Trust Fund for Wild Horses and of any matching money provided by the grantee, if applicable; and
(b) An assessment of the accomplishments of the project based on the goals stated in the application for the grant.
