NAC645E.080. Application for certificate of exemption for purpose of fulfilling requirements of S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act.

Unless otherwise specifically prohibited by federal law and pursuant to the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act, any person exempt from licensing pursuant to the provisions of chapter 645E of NRS may file a written application for a certificate of exemption with the Office of the Commissioner for the purposes of fulfilling the requirements of the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act, including, without limitation, for the purposes of:

     1. Registering with the Registry, but such registration does not affect the exempt status of the person;

     2. Sponsoring a mortgage agent;

     3. Fulfilling any bonding requirements related to an associated mortgage agent; or

     4. Fulfilling reports of condition requirements.
