NAC687B.078. Restriction on use of certain terms in marketing.

  • An insurer, health care plan or other entity marketing long-term care insurance in this State, directly or through its agents or other producers, shall not use the terms “noncancellable” or “level premium” in reference to a long-term care insurance contract or certificate unless the long-term care insurance contract or certificate provides that the insured may continue the long-term care insurance by the timely payment of premiums during which period the insurer may not unilaterally make any change in any provision of the insurance or in the premium rate.
