For the purposes of subsection 2 of NRS 689C.190, the Commissioner will interpret “existing coverage” as not including coverage issued as a supplement to liability insurance, workers’ compensation or similar insurance, automobile medical payment insurance, accident insurance only policies, credit insurance, plans for dental care, optometric plans, coverage provided as a supplement to Medicare, coverage for long-term care, disability income or specified disease, hospital confinement indemnity, or limited benefit health insurance if the requirements of NRS 689C.105 are satisfied.
