RESTRICTIONS ON USE OF SPECIFIC PARKS AND AREAS |
NAC407.370. Washoe Lake State Park.
- Within Washoe Lake State Park:
1. A person shall not:
(a) Operate any motorized toy or device which is controlled by a radio in any congested area of the Park;
(b) Camp for more than 7 days in a 30-day period;
(c) Enter the wetland area from February 1 through June 30 without the permission of the Supervisor of the Park; or
(d) Permit a dog to enter the wetland area except during the seasons for hunting waterfowl established by the Department of Wildlife; and
2. The provisions of subsection 1 of NAC 407.140 apply only within a 200-foot radius of any campsite or developed picnic area. Outside that area, a pet or other domestic animal is not required to be kept on a leash or otherwise contained if it is under the immediate control of the owner.
